Dip Dap

Something's Better Than Nothing

Dip Dap are a Sloppy sounding Pop Punk band founded in June '08 and based in Glasgow, Scotland. They play short and fast songs with a mix of Grunge. They are always playing gigs in Scotland and England and are influenced by the likes of Astrid Oto, Blatz, Tilt, Nirvana and Crimpshrine, but still manage to put their own twist on things. This EP is the bands first since their reformation in April 2009 but are soon to be recording a full length album. Check out this bands live album and zine too.

Choke On A Cheeseburger

A primarily female band from New York City, Cheeky should fit in nicely for fans of The Measure or This Is My Fist, but by no means is this a copycat band. Cheeky do their own thing. Top that with a twenty-year-old New Yorker girl or two screaming at you, and how could you refuse?

This Is My Fist

A History Of Rats

This Is My Fist are
100% sincere, aggressive yet melodic Bay Area California punk notably topped by singer Annie's raspy cigarettes-and-whiskey stained voice, falling somewhere between Joan Jett and the Avengers.

The Motards

Saturday Night Special Ed.

The Motards burst onto the garage punk scene on a tidal wave of piss and beer, before breaking up in early 1998. A premier force in the great Austin garage scene, these guys released two albums on Seattle's empty records and a slew of singles and comp tracks.
Will be posting more soon.

7 Year Bitch

Viva Zapata!

An American punk/grunge band from Seattle Washington active between 1990 and 1997. Their career yielded three albums, and was impacted by the deaths of their guitarist Stefanie Sargent and close-friend Mia Zapata of the Seattle punk band The Gits.

The Jim Carroll Band

Catholic Boy

Jim Carroll expressed the Bomb-fear anticipation, the optimistic nihilism and glittering darkness of the 1980s that could not be otherwise communicated. The band's success can be attributed to the powerful combination of pure rock 'n' roll with Carroll's poetic sensibility and ability to write from his own experience. He has recorded with the likes of Pearl Jam, Rancid, Lou Reed, Danny Barnes, and John Cale. 'Catholic Boy' is now considered one of the last great punk albums and is a must have in your collection.

Rotten Apples

Real Tuff

Formed in the late 90's during Seattle's burgeoning punk revival, Rotten Apples brought something new and fresh to the scene. This all female band bridge the gap between pop and punk, rock and soul, bratty and brave, with a touch of New Wave.

Ghost Mice

A political, anarchist, DIY, folk-punk band from Indiana consisting of Chris Clavin and Hannah Jones who have been in various bands such as Operation: Cliff Clavin and Disarm. These guys have played everywhere, even backyards and street corners, and have got rid of the usual restrictions of amps and equipment by choosing to play simple folk-punk.
Other Ghost Mice releases i've posted: 'The Debt Of The Dead'.

The Budget Girls

Miso Hornie

A garage punk band from the USA consisting of two Go-Go dancers who went to England and formed a band. The Budget Girls have a similar style to Bikini Kill and Skinned Teen. Have a listen to their other release, 'Get In Your Ear'.
