The band have a reputation for crazy live shows that have included vomiting, urination, nudity, band members kissing, electric R.C. car races, fireworks, a chicken, and flaming guitars; all inspired by the "punk-before-punk" Viennese Actionism movement in Austria.

Discount were a female fronted punk band formed in Vero Beach, Florida in early 1995, (a year in which most of its members were still in high school). The band began playing shows all over the state of Florida. They performed their last show in 2000 and members went on to play in The Kills, The Routineers and The Monikers.

Raooul were from the East Bay of California and played fast screechy punk. All i know is they formed, played some shows they weren't supposed to, and broke up too soon. This release is part off the split LP with Skinned Teen's Bazooka Smooth.

Bazooka Smooth!

Skinned teen were three teenage girls from London who formed after a Bikini Kill show where Skinned Teen had approached Kathleen Hanna and told her they were in a band. They weren't, and could barely play any instruments, but Kathleen offered them a show, so they wrote minimal garage punk songs with catchy rants and chants. This was part of a split release on Lookout! records with east bay punks Raooul. Funky stuff!

Tilt were a female fronted punk band formed in 1992 from East Bay, California. The band consisted of Cinder Block on vocals (Retching Red, Fabulous Disaster), Jeffrey Bischoff on guitar, Pete Rypins on bass (Crimpshrine) and Vincent Camacho on drums. This album was released on Lookout! Records in 1993.

Fabulous Disaster was an all girl punk band from San Francisco California, founded in 1998. Former members include Cinder Block from punk band Tilt. They released this EP on Fat Wreck Chords in 2004 with a new lineup and have been called the best female punk band of all time. That statement may be slightly exagurrated but still a great band none the less.

Free Kitten

Sentimental Education

Free Kitten is an alternative musical collaboration between Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Pussy Galore's Julie Cafritz. Boredoms member Yoshimi P-We later took up the drums and Pavement's Mark Ibold joined later as bassist. They released a handful of albums and singles, mainly on Kill Rock Stars.
