The Gr'ups were a rockabilly punk band from the east bay California formed by Jesse Luscious and Anna Joy, formerly of the band Blatz. The band has also consisted of Kamala, formerly of Kamala and the Karnivores, and Matt Freeman, formerly of Operation Ivy and Basic Radio.
Downfall was a ska punk band from the Bay Area California formed by Tim Armstrong, Matt Freeman, Dave Mello, Pat Mello and Jason Hammon following the break up of Operation Ivy. They performed three shows over a period of three months, one being at Gilman, which was recorded and made into this live album.
In February 1987, Jesse Michaels from bands such as Operation Ivy, Big Rig, Common Rider and Classics Of Love, published his first fanzine 'Kill Deal For Fifty Cents'. Contains interviews, articles and art.
