'Girl Germs' was a zine created by Allison Wolfe and Molly Neuman, both members of the band Bratmobile. It was published just before Riot Grrrl truly emerged and helped pave the way for this movement. Contributors to the zine included Kathleen Hanna, Calamity Jane and 7 Year Bitch among many others.
Dip Dap are a DIY punk band straight out of Glasgow, Scotland. They started in June '08 and play sloppy pop punk with a mix of male and female vocals. This is a recording of the bands 5th gig. In February 1987, Jesse Michaels from bands such as Operation Ivy, Big Rig, Common Rider and Classics Of Love, published his first fanzine 'Kill Deal For Fifty Cents'. Contains interviews, articles and art.
First issue of the Scottish zine 'I Can Smell It From Here'. Only 10 copies made of which only about 2 were actually given out. Features interviews from Glasgow bands such as 4 Past Midnight, Poverty Scum, Shove and also contains articles and reviews. Almost all of it is hand written, photocopied and put together. Completely DIY and definitely worth a read.
